IQCOD Industrial COD Sensor Chemical Oxygen Demand 4-20mA + Modbus RS485
Many organic substances dissolved in water can absorb ultraviolet (UV) light. IQCOD Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) Sensor accurately measure the level of organic pollutants by detecting how much UV light is absorbed at a wavelength of 254 nm. The sensor uses two light sources: one ultraviolet light to measure the COD (Chemical Oxygen Demand) content, and another reference light to assess the water’s turbidity.
Additionally, IQCOD sensor employs a specialised algorithm that compensates for any loss of light along the path and reduces the impact of suspended particles in the water. This helps ensure that the measurements remain stable and reliable, even in water with varying levels of impurities.
Features:
- No reagents required, no pollution, economical and environmentally friendly.
- Small size, more convenient installation, and can monitor water quality online continuously.
- Can measure parameters such as COD, turbidity and temperature.
- Automatically compensate for turbidity interference.
- With a cleaning brush to prevent biological attachment.
- Small drift, fast response, and more accurate measurement.
- Excellent stability even for long-term monitoring.
- Maintenance-free, long service life, and low cost of use.
- Digital sensor, RS-485 interface, Modbus/RTU protocol.
- Low power consumption design, anti-interference design.
