The Milesight EG71 is a powerful and intelligent edge IoT gateway designed specifically for smart building and building automation systems (BMS). Equipped with a quad-core industrial-grade processor and large onboard memory, EG71 ensures stable performance for large-scale device connectivity, edge computing, and local automation.

Supporting both wired and wireless connectivity, EG71 enables seamless data aggregation from diverse field devices such as sensors, meters, controllers, and actuators. With native support for RS485, KNX, M-BUS (under development), LoRaWAN®, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, and Cellular (4G), it bridges field-level devices with cloud platforms or BMS systems efficiently.

EG71 supports mainstream industrial and building protocols, including Modbus, BACnet, MQTT, and HTTP, enabling fast, plug-and-play deployment and easy integration with third-party hardware and software. Combined with Milesight Development Platform, it offers centralised remote management, security, and scalability for modern smart buildings.
