QingPing LoRaWAN CO2, Temperature & Humidity Monitoring Sensor

The QingPing LoRaWAN CO2 monitor Sensor is a remote monitoring device that uses nondispersive infrared (NDIR) spectral analysis to accurately measure CO2 levels. Aside from CO2 levels, it also monitors temperature and relative humidity, providing a comprehensive overview of the indoor environment in real time. Readings are displayed on a high-resolution LED screen with a reading reporting interval of 10 minutes (min) and 24 hours (max) and a reading recording interval of 1 minute (min) and 1 hour (max). It has a built-in buzzer that can be set to sound an alarm when the reading exceeds the limit. When the CO2, temperature, and humidity readings reach the set threshold, the device goes offline, or the battery power runs out, an alarm notification is sent. To ensure reliable data gathering and monitoring, the battery is designed to last over an extended period. It can run for up to 99 days without charging or replacing the battery. This remote monitoring device is built in a sleek and compact design suitable for any environment. It is simple to set up, operate, and integrate with other smart devices or management platforms.

Key Features Highlights of the QingPing LoRaWAN CO2 monitor:

    • Low Power Consumption: Can operate for up to 99 days without charging or battery replacement.
    • Long Range: Can transmit data over long distances, making it suitable for indoor environments with obstacles that may interfere with wireless signals.
    • Cost-Effective: Less expensive in general than other wireless technologies, making them an affordable solution for in-building connectivity.
    • Easy Deployment and Maintenance: Simple to deploy and manage. Devices can be easily added or removed, making network management easier.
    • Reliable: Designed for high reliability and can automatically switch to backup channels if interference is detected.
    • Customized data recording and reporting intervals: - Reading reporting interval: 10 minutes (Minimum), 24 hours (Maximum) - Reading recording interval: 1 minute (Minimum), 60 minutes (Maximum).
    • Alarm function: An alarm notification is sent when the CO2, temperature, and humidity readings reach the set threshold, when the device goes offline, or when the battery power runs out.

Use Case 1: Indoor CO₂ monitoring solutions is in office spaces and classrooms

With the growing recognition of the importance of maintaining indoor air quality, monitoring CO₂ levels has become crucial. High CO₂ levels indicate poor ventilation, which can lead to discomfort, decreased productivity, and increased health risks. By implementing CO₂ monitoring solutions, such as sensors or detectors, in these environments, timely ventilation can be initiated to improve the efficiency of working or studying. This ensures that occupants have access to fresh air, reducing drowsiness, fatigue, and difficulty in concentrating. It also promotes better cognitive performance and overall well-being. Additionally, monitoring CO₂ levels allows for energy efficiency by identifying periods of low occupancy or when ventilation systems are not needed, resulting in cost savings and reduced environmental impact.

Use Case 2: CO₂ monitoring is in public places such as shopping malls, restaurants, and crowded environments.

Monitoring CO₂ levels in these spaces helps evaluate indoor ventilation and management of public health risks. High CO₂ levels are indicative of inadequate ventilation, which can lead to the accumulation and spread of airborne contaminants, including viruses. By monitoring CO₂ levels, facility managers and public health officials can assess indoor air quality and implement appropriate ventilation measures. This helps reduce the concentration and spread of harmful substances, minimizing the risk of airborne transmission of diseases. Improved indoor air quality, achieved through proper ventilation strategies, creates a healthier and more comfortable environment for occupants. It also ensures compliance with regulations or guidelines regarding indoor air quality and CO₂ levels in public spaces, demonstrating a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for customers and employees.
