The Teltonika RUTX12 is a powerful industrial dual LTE Cat 6 cellular router designed for mission-critical applications where reliable and uninterrupted connectivity is essential. Unlike conventional cellular routers, the RUTX12 incorporates two independent 4G LTE Cat 6 modems, allowing two simultaneous mobile connections with intelligent load balancing and automatic failover.

Dual LTE Cat 6 – Built for Mission-Critical Connectivity
One of the key advantages of the RUTX12 is its dual cellular modem architecture.
Rather than simply having two SIM cards connected to a single modem, the RUTX12 incorporates two independent LTE Cat 6 modems, allowing both mobile connections to operate simultaneously. This provides significantly greater flexibility for applications where internet connectivity cannot be allowed to fail.

Carrier Aggregation further improves cellular performance by combining available LTE frequency resources where supported by the mobile network.
Automatic Failover & Load Balancing
The RUTX12 is designed to keep critical equipment connected even when a primary internet connection fails.
Its network backup functionality supports:

Multiple WAN connections can also be configured for load balancing, distributing internet traffic across available connections.

Dual SIM & eSIM Support
The RUTX12 supports two external Mini SIM (2FF) slots, allowing SIM cards from different mobile network operators to be installed for additional redundancy.
Depending on the selected order code, the latest RUTX12 hardware can also support consumer eSIM with up to seven eSIM profiles. Automatic SIM switching can be triggered by conditions including weak signal, data limits, roaming, no network, network denial or data connection failure.
This provides excellent flexibility when deploying routers across different sites and mobile networks.
High-Speed Dual-Band Wi-Fi 5
The RUTX12 includes 802.11ac Wave 2 Wi-Fi 5 with dual-band operation and data rates up to 867 Mbps.

The RUTX12 is built for demanding industrial installations with a durable anodised aluminium enclosure and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to +75°C.
It accepts 9–50 VDC input power with reverse-polarity and surge/transient protection. Passive PoE powering through LAN1 is also supported within the same voltage range.
DIN rail, wall and flat-surface mounting options are available using optional mounting kits.
Teltonika RMS Remote Management
The RUTX12 is compatible with Teltonika Remote Management System (RMS), allowing administrators to remotely monitor and manage deployed routers.
