USR-CAN528 high-performance CAN(FD) to Ethernet/fiber optic gateway integrates two CAN(FD) interfaces, one Ethernet interface, one SFP slot and one serial port. In software, it integrates TCP / IP protocol stack. Users can easily realize the interconnection and interworking between CAN bus network and Ethernet network, and further expand the scope of CAN FD network.

The USR-CAN528 high-performance CAN(FD) and Ethernet gateway integrates two CAN(FD) interfaces, one Ethernet interface, one SFP slot and one serial port. In terms of software, it integrates the TCP/IP protocol stack and supports TCP/UDP/MQTT protocols. Moreover, it supports CAN(FD) to Modbus and CANopen to Modbus protocol conversions. Users can easily achieve interconnection and interoperability between the CAN bus network and the Ethernet network, and further expand the application scope of the CAN FD network.

CAN to Fiber Optic Converter

USR-CAN528 has one standard SFP Gigabit fiber optic port which enables fast transmission over long distances.

CAN Repeater

USR-CAN528 comes with 2 channel CAN ports, so it can work as a CAN repeater to extend communication distance and expand bus nodes.

CANopen Master to Modbus TCP/RTU

USR-CAN528 can act as a CANopen master, converting CANopen communication into Modbus RTU/TCP. It enables industrial devices (like robotic arms) on a CANopen network to be monitored and controlled by higher-level systems such as PLCs, SCADA, or cloud platforms via Modbus.
